The Digital Inclusion Awards recognise outstanding work by signatories to the Digital Poverty Alliance's Charter for Digital Inclusion.

The awards recognise organisations that are moving beyond commitment and putting digital inclusion into practice.

We’ve been nominated alongside NHS Cheshire and Merseyside and Journey Enterprises Ltd in the accessible services category. This category recognises organisations making digital services more user-friendly and accessible to everyone, including disabled people.

We’re looking forward to meeting the nominees across all categories and celebrating the essential work of the Digital Poverty Alliance at the End Digital Poverty Gala Reception on Thursday 10 September.

We attended the gala reception last year, and our Front End Lead Developer reflected on the impact of digital poverty in website development and what we can do to be more inclusive.

If you’d like to support digital inclusion, there are three ways to get involved:

  1. Sign the Charter for Digital Inclusion
  2. Get involved with End Digital Poverty Week activities (7-13th September)
  3. Attend the End Digital Poverty Week gala reception on 10th September
