This weekend the Studio 24 team took on the EACH (East Anglian Children’s Hospices) colour dash in Ely. It’s Monday morning and I am still finding blue paint in my hair.

This year the team had two runners Ben and Carlos taking on the 5k course and we sponsored a paint station with a team of Studio 24 paint pirates, you might have seen us, we were the blue team and our mission was to turn everyone into a smurf!

There was a real sense of joy

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and all the participants passed through our station laughing and smiling, spurred on by the sounds of the fantastic samba band.

Ben and Carlos even got to have a chat with Cambridge News, who’ve published some lovely quotes from the guys.

The EACH colour dash is a great way to raise much needed funds for a key charity, and have a fantastic day out at the same time. The colour dash is a 5k course which you can run, walk or jog. The dash is for any age or ability; you can even bring your dog along!

As well as taking part in the challenge you can raise funds at the same time by collecting sponsorships. Last year the colour dashes raised £150,000, in lieu of this success the dash is back with more dates than ever!

There is more fun to come with colour dashes taking place is Bury St Edmunds, Saffron Walden and King’s Lynn, you can sign up for these events on the EACH website.

If you’d like to donate to the East Anglian Children’s Hospices charity, you can do so through their JustGiving page.
