The River Thames Scheme (RTS), a major flood alleviation scheme being delivered by a partnership led by Surrey County Council and the Environment Agency, has appointed Studio 24 to design its website. The website will be a key part of the project’s communications and engagement work.

The government has recently deemed the RTS a Nationally Significant Infrastructure Project (NSIP) and it will go through the Development Consent Order planning process. The Studio 24 team will draw on its years of experience in the major projects sector to help RTS build its digital presence and design a website that is engaging, friendly, and that will help visitors easily find the information they need.

The Studio 24 team is looking forward to starting work on the new designs for the River Thames Scheme website. We have been developing websites for major projects for over a decade and have a very strong track record in designing digital solutions for positive user engagement.

The River Thames Scheme fits in Studio 24’s growing portfolio of major projects clients which includes Crossrail, HS2, London Heathrow Airport, and Network Rail. The new website will help RTS engage with the community and industry stakeholders and will support the scheme as it moves through the design, development, planning, and construction phases.

The delivery of the River Thames Scheme will go through different phases including planning and construction. We need engagement and consultation with communities and stakeholders along the way. Our website will play a key part in that engagement and consultation and we’re delighted to be working with Studio 24 and benefit from the expertise the team brings.
