The largest consultation of young people in the UK.

Make Your Mark is an annual online ballot for 11 to 18-year olds. Voting gives young people a say on the issues that affect them – including food poverty, the climate emergency, and mental health. In 2019 over 1 million votes were cast. Voting will determine the Youth Parliament’s campaign priorities in 2021.

Members of the Youth Parliament will campaign to influence the UK Parliament and their local representatives, ensuring that the views of young people are listened to by decision-makers. The UK Youth Parliament is managed by the British Youth Council, a youth-led charity which aims to empower young people across the UK to have a say and be heard.

Make Your Mark is such an important campaign so that young people can get their voices heard on the issues that matter to them. I’m also delighted to hear that it is a city-based organisation – Studio 24 – that is working with Parliament on this project. Make Your Mark is a fantastic initiative for young people beginning their democratic journey. Voting matters, so please do!

Daniel Zeichner, Member of Parliament for Cambridge

We’re happy to work with Parliament on this campaign. It’s very important to give our younger generations a platform through which they can make their voice heard. We look forward to students participating and their issues being debated next year.
