Alongside her development role, Marie mentors our team of front-end developers, defining and maintaining our front-end best practices

Marie first started coding as part of her biology degree course, during which she learned Pascal. A few years later, she woke up with the urge to make websites for a living. She took courses to turn her scripting skills into website building ones and started straight away as a freelance web developer.

Marie’s role at Studio 24 has expanded significantly. From working on front-end development and CMS integration, Marie has also worked on a range of research and discovery projects and leads the Front-End Team.

Marie excels in digital strategy and planning and has led on a number of high-profile Discovery projects for clients including Crown Commercial Service, Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC), and UK Parliament.

Marie’s approach is considered and empathetic and balances the needs of the stakeholders and users with the requirements of the project owners.

Marie has been the lead developer on our biggest project to date – the W3C website redesign. We have been working in the open, so all of Marie’s decisions have been scrutinised by the global developer community. Marie has approached the project with conviction and commitment.

Alongside her development role, Marie mentors our team of front-end developers, defining and maintaining our front-end best practices.

Thank you so much for all the hard work you and your team put into the discovery work for us, and for the friendly and productive working environment you created.

Hollie Sutterby, Crown Commercial Service
