Looking at their venture into a new online digital presence
The Cambridge Building Society is an independent, local and mutual society established in 1850. Through its 18 branches in the local Cambridge area, the Society offers a range of financial services and products including mortgages, savings, investments and insurance.
To completely manage the redevelopment of their online presence, the Society appointed Studio 24 as their new digital agency as part of a rebranding exercise in 2010. We were required to work closely with their branding agency to ensure a smooth transition from print to online.
Part of the project requirements were also to work with a third party financial software provider who was providing the online savings facility.

The Cambridge Building Society was also looking for the website to be flexible, in order that they could update it easily in-house. The initial phase of the project required the detailed analysis of the websites content (Information Architecture). Workshops were held with the client to analyse and define the most effective navigation structure for the website.
Once the site structure was in place the design phase commenced. We closely followed the new brand guidelines ensuring a crisp modern design giving a friendly personal feel. The design reflects the Society’s desire to be seen as an approachable financial institution.
The Studio 24 content management system was installed to facilitate the client in maintaining all aspects of the website themselves. A robust hosting solution is also provided and managed by Studio 24.
