This year’s Studio 24’s annual gala night went down superbly with thanks to The Crane Event and delicious treats from catering company Puddini.

The Cambridge Film Festival is an event very close to our hearts here at Studio 24, we have been sponsors of the Festival for many years and of course, eager attendees at the many events and films that are included within the Film Festival.

The Cambridge Film Trust supports independent cinema primarily in Cambridge and the Eastern region of the UK, and deliver screenings and events throughout the UK allowing everyone to enjoy film and culture in an engaging way.

The Cambridge Film Trust is a charitable organisation and can only survive with continued support, find out about becoming a partner of the Cambridge Film Festival.

The evening was hosted at the Picture House in Cambridge in the bar area. We kicked of the evening with a glass of Prosecco and food from the inventive menu of shrimp taco, ‘the cubano’ and key lime pie.

The menu was created to reflect the theme of our privately screened film for our guests: The Florida Project directed by Sean Baker. The Florida Project follows the mischief and adventure of 6-year-old precocious Moonee with her ragtag gang of playmates and relationship with her rebellious and caring mother, overshadowed by Disney World.

An addition to the night was our raffle raising funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity Accumulator Challenge. Prizes were 2x Film Festival ticket vouchers and 3x hampers containing various goodies!

We are delighted to be able to say that our raffle raised a total of £341.

The evening was a fantastic success and we’d like to thank all of our clients for coming along and making the evening special.
