Portfolio University of Cambridge
The University of Cambridge is one of the world's oldest universities.
The Client
Cambridge comprises 31 Colleges and over 150 departments, faculties, schools and other institutions. It is one of the worlds leading academic and a self-governed community of scholars.
Project Requirements
Studio 24 was commissioned by the University to undertake a complete redesign of the main University of Cambridge website.
Keeping within the University brand guidelines, we were requested to design and build a range of visually impressive content specific templates.
The templates needed to be highly flexible, as once built, they were to be cascaded across a wide range of University department websites.
Solution Delivered
Initial stages of the project involved a full review of the site’s core content together with the development of a new navigation structure (Information Architecture).
Once the new architecture was in place, concept designs were produced to meet the client’s brief of delivering a functional site with the look of a modern University with traditional values.
Once the design was signed off they were then built into HTML templates, which were robustly tested, and then successfully implemented across the University website.
